SS 40 High Strength Fence Framework

SS 40 is our high strength framework flagship product that has established Allied as the number one supplier to the fence industry. Like all SS-series fence framework products, SS 40 is cold-formed to a minimum yield of 50,000 psi. It is then given Allied's Flo-Coat triple-layer protection. The triple coating of our Flo-Coat process minimizes oxidation and locks-in the corrosion protection to preserve a "like new" appearance. The combination of the three coatings provides a synergistic effect that result in greater corrosion protection than the sum of the individual coatings.

SS 40 pipe, designed for the fence industry, is fabricated from high strength steel. As a result, SS 40 has a substantially higher Bending Moment, as compared to Schedule 40 in every size for every application.

SS 40 Meets the requirements of ASTM F 1043, Group IC.
